This is the digipack of pop artist Katy Perry's latest album Teenage Dream, the complete confection. This album is an extended edition of her previous album Teenage Dream. This album offers more for the buyer than the original album with lots of special features such as a chance to win a golden ticket inside for her movie premiere, the front cover of the digipack consists of a lenticular cover insert which creates a moving image when moved from side to side, the digipack contains nineteen songs compared to the thirteen on the original album and this album also gives us five three newly released singles.
The digiopack carries on with the imaginary world that Katy Perry has created for her fans. This is a land called Candyfornia which was seen on her tour as well as in the music video for California Gurls. This land is about sweet things where everything is made from sweets and candyfloss makes up the clouds. Katy perry attempts to make this land come to life with a moving insert cover which is covered in all things sweet as well as the queen of pop herself. As the image changes we see the star go from a head on close up shot with her wearing a crown, possibly showing us she is the queen of candyfornia? As we move the album again we see another image of Perry lying down naked in a sea of pink tinted cloud.
This is the back of the digipack, again it carries on with the Candyfornia theme that Katy is trying to get across, we can see bright blue skies and lots of pink fluffy clouds. The font of the writing again carried on with this theme as it looks like candy canes. The colours are very bright and very girly with bright pinks and the writing is very soft. It all looks very innocent and very appealing to teenage girls.
